About the Author

H. Maxwell Butcher is an Anglican priest with a long history of storytelling. He began writing in high school, and has since written a diocesan newspaper column, published two novels (one for children and one for adults) and a book of poetry. Butcher traces his storytelling skills to his work as a Boy’s Camp counselor. Born in Nairobi, he served in India as a missionary, in England as a pastor and presently lives in Canada.
