Grief Ministry: Helping Others Mourn fills the need for an up-to-date resource that combines spiritual and psychological insights about griefwork. It covers general aspects of grieving, empathy, communication, listening and prayer. The authors share insights on handling difficult situations, including suicide, the death of a baby, job loss, AIDS and divorce.

The Grief Ministry Facilitator’s Guide shows how to create a course on grief ministry, and provides handouts, questions for review and other course materials, all of which can be conveniently printed and distributed from this new, handy e-book format. The guide includes group listening and role-playing exercises, scenarios for discussion, and a resource listing, with photocopy permission included.
