This chapel is central to the religous life of the parish serving daily Mass, baptisms and some weddings and funerals as well as private devotion during the day.  The east wall gets direct sun in the early morning during the daily mass.  The abstract design of the glass continues around the entire chapel. Above the doors is the "Matins" rose window with a symbol for the morning sun.  The projected image of this rose window falls just above the processional cross at certain times of the day, then continues its journey across the chapel as the sun rises.
